PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible wiring board of which wiring pattern is low in resistance and can be electrically and appropriately connected with a semiconductor chip. SOLUTION: The flexible wiring board 1 is provided with a wide wiring pattern 16 on a flexible substrate 2, and the wide wiring pattern 16 has an opening 7. Therefore, a semiconductor chip 11 with a projected electrode 12 is electrically connected to the flexible wiring board 1, a part of the projected electrode 12 is connected in a manner to be located in the opening 7, so that the connection state can be visually checked through the opening 7 from the rear side of the flexible wiring board 1.
