PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toaster oven, simply cooking spit-roasted food at home without firing a spit and also securing a basic function. SOLUTION: A front door 4 is provided with an auxiliary opening part 14, a chicken kebab 21 (a spit-roasted food) is inserted in a cooking chamber 2 through the auxiliary opening part 14 and placed on a spit-roasting grill 20, and with a grip part 22 of a spit of each chicken kebab 21 projected from the auxiliary opening 14 toward outside of the body, only a tubular heater 6 disposed on the upper side of the cooking chamber 2 is heated to cook food. Accordingly, the grip part 22 of each spit of chicken kebab 21 is projected to the outside of the body not to be fired. Further, the tubular heater 6 disposed on the lower side is not heated during cooking the chicken kebab 21, whereby the generation of smoke can be restrained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
