PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide immunoassay for simply and directly quantifying the ratio (%CDT) of carbohydrate defficient transferrin (CDT), with respect to total transferrin. SOLUTION: A substance A that is non-specifically reacted with the isoform of transferrin and a substance B that specifically reactes with carbohydrate deficient transferrin (CDT) are used, not only to non-specifically select the isoform of transferrin in body fluids by the substance A, but also to specifically select CDT by the substance B, so as to quantify the ratio (%CDT) of CDT with respect to the total transferrin, without having to measure the amount of the total transferrin in bodily fluids. The measured value obtained is directly proportioned to %CDT. By quantifying under the conditions where transferrin becomes excess amount, when transferrin is to be selected non-specifically, %CDT can be measured, without being affected by the fluctuations of transferrin in bodily fluids and performing the measurement of the total transferrin.
