PAPER FEEDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeder capable of handling a large quantity of paper at low cost at a time and automatically and stably feeding paper using a simple mechanism. SOLUTION: This paper feeder has a mechanism for pressing out paper toward a shredder port by placing paper 19 for feeding on two rollers 5a, 5b. Paper can be fed up to the last sheet by continuing to apply a static load to the paper from above by a weight mechanism (a suspension weight and wiring of the weight) interlocked with the opening/closing of a door. The opening/closing of the door is detected by a door opening/closing sensor to prevent a malfunction during the open state of the door (paper feeding). Paper jamming is detected by a paper feeding sensor 13 to stop operation at the occurrence of paper jamming. These complex effects provide automated stable operation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
