PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vessel capable of reducing the amount of ballast water in a light load navigation state, in a displacement type vessel navigating on the water. SOLUTION: In the displacement type vessel 1 navigating on the water, a propeller is structured by a multiblade propeller 10 having a blade number Np of 7 blades to 10 blades. A stern waterline ds in the light load navigation state is structured to be a position where the multiblade propeller 10 fully sinks during navigation at planed speed in the light load navigation state.
