The invention relates to a memory system for a user profile of a plurality of electronic systems or functional units in a motor vehicle. Said memory system is used to provide data corresponding to the user profile in the vehicle, without a user having to perform corresponding adjustments. The user profile can be used in a plurality of vehicles by being stored in the memory system.
