A device for playing an optical disc at high density and the optical disc thereof are provided to access a specific recording position randomly by a user by reading out and checking a zone ID information or address information rapidly without a decoding operation in an optical disc playing operation. In a device for playing an optical disc, the optical disc includes address information for a recording unit block and division information indicating a zone of the recording unit block. The division information indicates a read-in region, a data region, or a read-out region of the optical disc played at the high density. The division information of the address information is recorded at a front or a rear region of an inside for the recording unit block. The address information and the division information are recorded by non-modulated data. The address information is detected without an additional decoding operation.
