<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of reducing a temperature difference between the upside and the downside of a light source lamp and achieving the prolongation of the life of the light source lamp. <P>SOLUTION: By operating an operation knob 43 in such a state that a lamp unit 30 is attached in a housing 2 and turning a cooling part 40 so that a ventilating fan 41 may be superposed on the upper aperture part 35 of the lamp unit 30, a suction duct 42 is superposed on the lower aperture part 36. In such a state, the upper space of the light source lamp 31 communicates with the outside through a draft air duct 37 and the ventilating fan 41, and the lower space of the light source lamp 31 communicates with the outside through a draft air duct 38 and the suction duct 42. When the ventilating fan 41 is superposed on the lower aperture part 36, the suction duct 42 is superposed on the upper aperture part 35. In such a state, the upper space of the light source lamp 31 communicates with the outside through the draft air duct 37 and the suction duct 42, and the lower space of the light source lamp 31 communicates with the outside through the draft air duct 38 and the ventilating fan 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
