<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve restraining performance of an occupant's upper body. <P>SOLUTION: Since a first restraining part 18A and a second restraining part 18B of a shoulder webbing 18 are mounted in a bifurcated shape to a shoulder part of a vehicle outside of the occupant in a seat belt device 10, the load on a shoulder part of the occupant 16 is dispersed into two webbing of the first restraining part 18A and the second restraining part 18B.
