摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam machining device where a laser with high efficiency, high output and high stability, particularly, a laser beam for machining in a single mode can be easily obtained. <P>SOLUTION: The laser beam machining device comprises: an amplifier fiber 10; a seed laser oscillation part 12; a fiber core excitation part 14; a laser emission part 16; a control part 20; and a photosensor 64 or the like. A seed laser beam SB of a Q switch pulse from the seed laser oscillation part 12 enters one end face 10a of the amplifier fiber 10, and a core excitation beam FB of continuous oscillation from the fiber core excitation part 14 enters the other edge face 10b. The seed laser beam SB is amplified in a core in an active state while the amplifier fiber 10 is propagated, and goes out from the other edge face 10b of the amplifier fiber 10 as a laser beam MB for machining of high output. The photosensor 64 feeds-back the laser output of the laser beam MB for machining to the seed laser oscillation part 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p>
