<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inhibitor for preventing body fluid leakage for corpse, which is injected/packed into the body cavity of a corpse by an injection tool, brought into contact with a body fluid in the body cavity, quickly absorbs the body fluid, swells, is harden solidified and effectively prevents body fluid leakage and to provide an apparatus for treating a corpse, using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The inhibitor for preventing body fluid leakage for corpse is obtained by dispersing highly water-absorbing resin powder (C) into a liquid nonionic surfactant (A) to generate heat by mixing it with water and a dispersion stabilizer (B) such as a polyalkylene oxide-based thermoplastic nonionic water-absorbing resin, etc. The apparatus for treating a corpse is equipped with a cylindrical main body (20) having a discharge part (22) at the tip end and a collar part (26) projected to the outside in the radial direction for catching a finger on the rear end part and a syringe (10) having a piston (30) slidably inserted from the rear end part side into the cylindrical main body.
