PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide device management technology allowing easy acquisition of whether a user is in a secure state or not by notifying the user that information of a device list is acquired by a protocol of a secure version when list-displaying devices. SOLUTION: This device management apparatus has: a first communication means performing communication with the device by use of a specific network management protocol according to a first version; a second communication means performing communication with the device by use of a specific network management protocol according to a second version; and a display means displaying information showing that the information of the device is acquired by the protocol according to any version of the specific network management protocol according to the first version and the specific network management protocol according to the second version together with the information of the device acquired from the device.
