PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of precisely grasping travelling efficiency of a hybrid electric automobile. SOLUTION: This display device 20 is an economy meter 20 used for the hybrid electric automobile 1 travelling by doubly using an electric motor 2 to generate driving force by electric power and an engine 4 to generate driving force by an internal combustion engine, furnished with a computing means 43a to compute the travelling efficiency of the hybrid electric automobile 1 by correcting instant fuel consumption computed in accordance with a travelling distance and the fuel consumption of the hybrid electric automobile 1 with acceleration of the hybrid electric automobile 1 as a parameter and constituted to display the travelling efficiency computed by the computing means 43a.
