PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which is capable of suppressing penetration of dust under a display panel while suppressing the occurrence of display unevenness. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device is constituted by interposing a display panel 12 between a light source device 11 and a shield front 13. The light source device 11 has a flexible seal member 41 disposed on a mounting surface 36; and when the shield front 13 is mounted on the light source device 11 as shown by a code 71, the flexible seal member 41 is deformed into a flat shape to press a side edge of a panel part 21 of the display panel in an in-plane direction of the panel part 21.
