PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data management method for a memory capable of performing a perfect registering of a trigger phenomenon, always catching the newest trigger phenomenon with a high resolution, in the memory of long data recording length. SOLUTION: The data sample is written in a circulation buffer 18 of the memory, having a memory location of a first number. When there occurs a first trigger phenomenon, the data sample is written in a linear region 20 behind the circulation buffer inside the memory. After the last trigger phenomenon arises, when the amount of the data sample which is equal to the sum of the number of the memory locations of the first number and the number of the memory locations of the second number is written in the linear region, the writing of the data sample into the linear region is stopped.
