PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation in color reproduction, occurrence of level differences in color information in stitch boundaries, etc. due to specularly reflected components and direct light component. SOLUTION: A three-dimensional information measuring apparatus is provided with an illumination means, having both at least one light projection means for projecting illumination light and a scattering plate, having a scattering surface of which at leasat part of its surface is opposite to the light projection means to scatter illumination light from the light projection means. The scattering plate is installed, in such a way as to separate the light projection means and a mounting base from an imaging means and has an opening which restricts images on the side of the mounting base and receivable by the imaging means. The light projection means is arranged, in such a way as to prevent the direct light component and the specularly reflected component of illumination light from entering via the opening onto a region on the imaging means which receives images to be used for measuring photographic subjects.
