PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of precisely predicting Moire interference patterns without being affected by resolution and accurately performing sensory evaluation on predicted Moire interference patterns. SOLUTION: In the case that a mesh is arranged in the front surface of a light-emitting panel of a plasma display, common parts between pixels of the light-emitting panel and the mesh are dark parts, and a value acquired by subtracting the area S1 of the dark parts from the area S of the R-pixels is the area S2 of bright parts. The ratio of the area S2 of the bright parts to the area S of the pixels to be an index m of brightness of the pixels. Moire interference patterns which occur when brightness M is given to each pixel on the basis of the index m of the brightness are predicted. With the filter mesh removed, each pixel of the plasma display is made to actually emit light at brightness according to the index M of brightness and display Moire interference patterns.
