PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize high efficiency and a longer life of a pulse tube type refrigerating engine by suppressing the flow of direct-current gas in the pulse tube refrigerating engine. SOLUTION: Each of a first valve part and a second valve part consists of a cylindrical member which has a high pressure valve port, a low pressure valve port and a heat accumulator valve port constituting a high pressure passage and a low pressure passage, and a phase adjusting means valve port and a pulse tube valve port constituting a phase adjusting gas passage, and a movable member which has a first accumulator valve through-hole for opening/closing the high pressure valve port and the accumulator valve port, a second accumulator valve through-hole for opening/closing the low pressure valve port and the accumulator valve port, and a pulse tube valve through-hole for opening/closing the phase adjusting means valve port and the pulse tube valve port and which is held in a rotatable or axially slidable manner by the cylindrical member. It also has a ring accumulator passage provided between the inner peripheral face of the cylindrical member and the outer peripheral face of the movable member and usually connected with the accumulator valve port, and a ring pulse tube passage provided at a predetermined axial space from the ring accumulator passage and usually connected with the pulse tube valve port.
