PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a problem that deviation of circularity of a radial shaft bearing is created due to unreasonable deformation of an oil-impregnated sintered bearing with accompanying press-in to a housing inner circumference and a shaft can not be supported under a regular condition. SOLUTION: An oil-impregnated sintered bearing 2 has a radial bearing surface having lubricating oil impinged in sintered metal 1 and having a shaft 6 rotatably supported by an inner circumference surface 1a, and is pressed and fixed in an inner circumference of the housing 5. An outer circumference of the sintered metal 1 is covered by a covering member 3 for press in having larger deformation quantity in a radial direction with accompanying press-in to the inner circumference of the housing 5 then that of the sintered metal 1. A member having resin having Young's module of 9806.65 MPa or less insert-molded on an outer circumference of the sintered metal 1 is used as the covering member 3 for press-in.
