PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint assembly protecting a pair of constant velocity universal joints and boots and preventing the constant velocity universal joint from tilting, and an axle module provided with the same. SOLUTION: In the axle module provided with the fourth generation structure wheel bearing device rotatably supporting a wheel and plastically joining a hub wheel 6 and an outside joint member 7 as one unit, and the joint assembly 32 connected to the same, a unit cover 5 composed of heat-shrinkable film following an outer shell shape of the outside joint members 7, 25 and boots 17, 31 of the pair of constant velocity universal joints 1, 2, and the joint assembly 32 is joined as one unit by subjecting the unit cover 5 under predetermined temperature. Since an outer diameter of a fitting surface 10d of an external member 10 is formed larger than an outer diameter of the unit cover 5, assembly of the axle module to a knuckle is facilitated and assembly workability to a vehicle is improved.
