PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet bowl facility equipped with a water supply device capable of supplying flushing water at a sufficient instantaneous flow rate to a toilet bowl, and to provide a toilet bowl flushing method. SOLUTION: A water valve 2, an air valve and an atmosphere open valve 13 are opened in the initial stage of flushing. Water is thereby supplied from a water tank 8 to the toilet bowl 20 at a flow rate W<SB>1</SB>. The air valve 9 is then closed. Water is thereby supplied from the water tank 8 to the toilet bowl 20 at the total water flow rate W<SB>2</SB>=W<SB>1</SB>+A<SB>1</SB>, wherein W<SB>1</SB>is the quantity of newly supplied water, and A<SB>1</SB>is the flow rate of air flowing in through the atmosphere open valve 13, and the water level in the toilet bowl 23 rises by 20 mm or higher than the still water level. A suction valve 16 is opened further later to suck the secondary side of a trap 24. A powerful siphon is thereby formed early in the trap 24. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
