PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for interior material composed of a biodegradable resin having excellent processability, sheet strength and flexibility and an interior material made of the composition, and to provide a composition for interior material capable of imparting excellent processability, sheet strength necessary as an interior material and flexibility even at a high filler content and an interior material made of the composition. SOLUTION: The composition for an interior material made of a biodegradable resin is composed of a biodegradable resin, a filler, a polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester plasticizer and/or an epoxidized compound wherein the amount of the polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester plasticizer is 10-40 PHR and that of the epoxidized compound is 5-30 PHR, and the interior material is made of the composition.
