PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly move a positioning member when adjustment of an outlet clearance is performed in a jaw crusher provided with a fixed tooth, a movement tooth, a toggle block for supporting the movement tooth through a toggle plate, the positioning member for performing positioning of the toggle block, an adjustment hydraulic cylinder for moving the positioning member and a retaining hydraulic cylinder for retaining the toggle plate. SOLUTION: A low pressure relief valve 51 for the retaining cylinder for escaping the pressurized oil of a retaining cylinder rod side oil chamber 21a to an oil tank 23, while retaining it to a low set pressure, is provided on a hydraulic circuit of the retaining cylinder 21 and the adjustment cylinders 20A, 20B such that a toggle plate retaining pressure of the retaining cylinder 21 at adjustment of the outlet clearance is reduced from the toggle plate retaining pressure during operation of the jaw crusher.
