PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a showcase which can achieve energy saving by reducing the operation factor of a cooling device in time slots with few customers, such as in the night, and impressed electric power of illuminating devices. SOLUTION: A showcase 1 which includes a cooling device which cools the inside of a display chamber 11 and illuminating lamps 36 or the like, comprises a control device 20 which controls the cooling device and the illuminating lamps 36 or the like, wherein the control device 20 reduces impressed electric power of the illuminating lamps 36 or the like and raises a cooling setting value of the display chamber 11 when the operation factor of the cooling device is lower than the setting value.
