The system has a lever (2) with a contact surface (9) and a bolt (15) brought into engagement with a movable shifting pin (3). The lever is coupled with an adjustable gear wheel (11) in a control gear by the shifting pin. The movement of the control gear takes place by displacement of the gear wheel from a neutral position into an engaging position. A transmission ratio of the shifting speed of the gear wheel to the movement speed of the shifting pin between neutral position and engaging position of the gear wheel exhibits a local minimum value.
