The door (4) has upper and lower pivot bearings (12, 13) movably guided to guiding rails (6, 7). The rails are fixedly arranged at a side part of a motor vehicle body and extend in vehicle longitudinal direction. The bearings permit a movement of the door from a plane recognizing a closed position of the door in an inner side of a lateral door section of the motor vehicle body, a displacement in a vehicle longitudinal direction and a pivoting of the door around a vertical axis (14).
