<p>It is possible to identify the type of an in-examinee introduction device and select a content of a signal process for a reception signal so as to perform a data reception process from a plurality of types of in-examinee introduction device. A reception device includes a body data unit indicating the content of data and an additional unit added to the body data unit and having characteristic information different for each of the types of in-examinee introduction device. A reception unit (12) receives serial data transmitted from an in-examinee introduction device. An identification unit (19) identifies the type of the in-examinee introduction device according to the characteristic information in the additional unit among the received serial data. According to the identification result, a process decision unit (20) selects the content of a signal process for the body data unit in the serial data by a signal processing unit (14). Thus, one reception unit (12) can process reception signals appropriate for different types of in-examinee introduction device.</p> |
