A pressure detection device having improved easiness of installation and removal, capable of measuring pressure in a wide range, small sized, and capable of being produced at low costs. A sensor section (A) has a magnet (12) for receiving a load produced when a diaphragm (8) is pressed and a magnetic body cap (11) for covering the magnet (12). A magnetic body (9) is embedded in the diaphragm (8), and the magnetic body (9) in the diaphragm has a projection projecting from the diaphragm (8) so as to be in contact with the magnet (12). The magnetic body cap (11) has an opening enabling a joint between the projection of the magnetic body (9) and the magnet (12).
