FILTER AND DISPLAY APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME

A filter and a display device having the same are provided to improve ambient contrast by reducing reflection of the external light through a black stripe or black rod installed inside and to concentrate visible rays progressing toward the front side by a lenticular layer or a micro lens array layer. A filter(10) comprises the followings: a base film(30); a plurality of black stripes(11a) covered by the base film, separated from each other at regular intervals, and made of materials having a high light absorption rate; and a lenticular layer(21) disposed in the front side of the base film and provided with a lenticular structure having plural semi-curricular sections. The black stripes are arranged at the position corresponding to the center of the semi-circular section of the lenticular structure.
