In the present invention, there is disclosed the use of the compound of the general formula I in a free base or in a veterinary acceptable salt form, preferably in the hydrochloride acid addition salt form, for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment pneumonia in lambs, sheeps and cattle associated with Pasteurella haemolytica infection as well as a process for the preparation of such medicament by mixing a therapeutically effective amount of the compound of the general formula I in the free base or veterinarily acceptable salt form together with at least one veterinarily acceptable carrier or diluent. |
