Pictographic transfer printing process

The method involves guiding a transfer foil (5) around or tangentially over a pressing device. A coating or ingredients of the coating is remained on the transfer foil after the withdrawal of a printing sheet from a transfer gap (6). Image-moderate motives e.g. alphanumeric characters, structures, picture motives, hologram, metallic structures, or special partially applied coatings, are partially included in the transfer foil, where the transfer foil is not holohedrally coated. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a transfer foil for utilization in a pictographic transfer printing method (2) a transfer printing system.
