Timepiece with band display

摘要

The timepiece has an endless flexible ribbon (10) bearing time indications stretched between parallel rollers (11, 12). A mechanism turns one of the rollers comprising a spring, an escapement, and a regulator unit coupled to the escapement. The spring is wound up inside the roller (11) which forms a barrel of the drive mechanism. The rollers form the barrels that are coupled in an identical manner by one of their ends to the escapement and the regulator unit by using a sprocket wheel, where an axis of the wheel is separated with respect to a line joining an axis of the barrels.
