<p>Novel apparatus for analyzing components of bodily fluids, e.g. blood, has a discharge unit which sequentially discharges a reagent which is different for each reaction area of the hold-back carrier. A hold-back carrier has reaction area to hold the specimen liquid temporarily, and liquid is blended with reagent (3) and made to react with liquid. Reagent discharge unit sequentially discharges the reagent which is different for each reaction area of carrier. A detector detects the component, after specimen liquid and reagent are blended. An introductory part injects the specimen liquid and a branch flow path allocates the specimen liquid injected from introductory part. The hold-back carrier having reaction areas, is mounted by a drive unit. The reaction areas of hold-back carrier is made of existing water absorbent fibrous material. The hold-back carrier has fixed quantity unit for stipulating the liquid quantity required for test.</p> |
