A nonpoint pollution reduction device of a water canal is provided to prevent a water canal from getting clogged and to cut down the cost required for water purification by filtering out nonpoint pollution sources moving together with rainwater in a water canal. A nonpoint pollution reduction device installed to a secondary water canal connected slantingly to the middle of a primary water canal located on two sides of a road in the longitudinal direction includes a primary screen installed to a connection between the primary water canal and the secondary water canal to pass rainwater flown from the primary water canal to the secondary water canal and to filter out nonpoint pollution sources which are larger than the size of the primary screen, an overflow prevention unit installed in the middle of the secondary water canal and provided with end projections(111) projected to the upper part of two side walls(15) of the secondary water canal, a filter unit installed to the inside of the secondary water canal attached with the overflow prevention unit and provided with many filter cases(130) to filter out nonpoint pollution sources flown in together with rainwater, and a dust collection unit placed on the outside of the side wall of the secondary water canal and provided with an inlet(141) and an outlet at the front and the rear to flow nonpoint pollution sources flowing along the top of the filter unit in and out to a closed space. |
