<p>An LED illuminating apparatus and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent metal corrosion and short circuit of the apparatus by forming a dampproof coating layer on a PCB. An LED illuminating apparatus includes at least one light emitting diode(101) mounted on a PCB(printed circuit board) and a dampproof coating layer(105) formed on the PCB for sealing an electrically connecting portion of the light emitting diode. The coating layer is made of a silicon material, and is applied on an outer of the light emitting diode and an upper surface of the PCB. A lead pattern(103) is formed on the PCB, and is electrically connected to the light emitting diode, and a solder resist layer(104) is formed on the lead pattern.</p> |
