A time synchronization system of a WiBro terminal and its method are provided to remove the necessity for a user to set time directly even when a WiBro terminal is initialized. When a pre-set visual synchronization condition is met, a WiBro terminal(102) requests time information including information on a UTC(Universal Time Coordinated), and when the time information is received, the WiBro terminal(102) calculates the current local time, time in the current location, by using the received time information, and sets it as the current time. When the time information request is received from the WiBro terminal(102), a time server(100) provides the time information to the WiBro terminal according to the request.
