A method and a system for managing transfer of Internet contents are provided to remove needs for securing all manageable Internet contents to construct a database with hash keys of the managed contents while managing the transfer of the contents and managing general contents not applying authentication, and manage/block traffic for the predetermined contents between a client and a server without any authentication procedure. A signature database(410) stores and manages content ID signature generated from a part of real data and metadata by a hash function. A content management device(400) receives the traffic between the client(100) and the server(200), and determines whether the blocked contents generating a signature identical with the signature stored in the signature database are included in the contents by the hash function. If the traffic for the blocked contents is detected, the content management device transfers a blocking message to the client. The blocking message is a format of a reset flag transferred to the client from the content management device and is transferred before the transfer of the blocked contents is completed.
