PAGE REPLACEMENT METHOD

A page replacing method is provided to smoothly support an application program having periodicity, provide high environment adaptability, and minimize overhead. A page replacing method comprises the following steps of: recording reference information of a page when the page is referred by a task(306); classifying the page into one of a frequency-accessed page group and an infrequently accessed page group based on the reference information(310); and replacing a predetermined page within the infrequently accessed page group by a requested page if a page fault where the page requested by the task is not present in a main memory is generated(320).
