A device for transferring a sheet rapidly, and an image forming device thereof are provided to detect a type of the sheet accurately and to prevent a wrong sheet detecting operation though various types of the sheets are mixed. A device for transferring a sheet rapidly comprises a tray(1), a sheet transfer unit(2), and a sensor(5). The tray is used to load a transferred sheet. The sheet transfer unit is installed to separate the sheets one by one and transfer the sheet. The sensor is used to detect a type of the sheet. The type of the sheet is judged by the sensor when projecting one of the loaded sheets from the tray by the sheet transfer unit. An image forming device using the device for transferring the sheet rapidly includes an image forming unit. The image forming unit is used to form an image on the sheet transferred rapidly.
