A voltage regulator of a DC/AC inverter for vehicles is provided to output a constant voltage to a load by based on the prompt compensation for the variations of both input voltage and output load. A voltage regulator of a DC/AC inverter for vehicles includes an output voltage feedback unit(11) and a controller(10). The DC/AC inverter includes plural power switching elements, which convert an input DC voltage to an AC voltage according to a modified sine wave output scheme. The output voltage feedback unit feeds back an output voltage of the inverter to the controller. The controller stores output voltage data corresponding to input and output impedances of the inverter. The controller compares the fed-back output voltage with pre-stored output voltage data and controls a turn-on period of the power switching element, such that the output voltage is close to a specified voltage.
