A mobile communication terminal capable of quickly connecting with the Internet and managing connection information, and a method thereof are provided to check web site information without access to the Internet and enable efficient Internet connection management by performing wireless Internet connection with a web site corresponding to web connection setting information display by a web connection command. A mobile communication terminal comprises the followings: a communication unit(130); a connection information extracting unit(170); a web connection setting unit(180) which sets up shortened information as web connection setting information by linking the extracted web site connection information and the shortened information inputted through an input interface corresponding to the web site connection information; a storage unit(200); and a control unit(110) which detects the web connection setting information linked to the shortened information inputted from the storage unit if the shortened information is inputted through an input interface, outputs the web connection setting information through an output interface, and performs communication access through a web site and the communication unit on the basis of the web site connection information included in the outputted web connection setting information if a web connection command is inputted through the input interface.
