A method for improving a sound quality in a personal computer using a vector space of a signal is provided to extract and analyze all signals including noise or a signal generated from a person by estimating the number of signals and incident angles of signals in an environment in which a wide/broad band signal and a reflection signal thereof exist. An intrinsic vector of a signal is obtained by constructing a covariance matrix calculated by using a two-dimensional matrix having a temporal axis and a spatial axis of a signal incident from a plurality of sensors. The distance between the intrinsic vector and a directional vector is calculated in a vector space including the covariance matrix. The number of broadband signals and the angles of the broadband signals are estimated by using a spatial spectrum and the covariance matrix.
