An apparatus for automatically twisting a wire rod, which prevents the increase of a load transmitted to rotary bodies, prevents the deterioration of durability according to the rotation, can twist a wire easily, enables the wire to be replaced easily, and prevents the generation of safety accidents accordingly, is provided. An apparatus(500) for automatically twisting a wire rod comprises a wire feeding part(100) including a plurality of wheels(110) on which wires(W) are wound, and which are rotatably installed on a horizontal line, a wire twisting part(200) installed to twist the wires spirally by rotating the wires such that the wires are alternately twisted when one or more strands of wires unwound from the wheels are injected into winding wheels(250) at the same time, a wire transfer part(300) including actuators installed to rotate the twisting-completed wound wire in the same direction as the winding wheels while pressing the twisting-completed wound wire, and a plurality of transfer blocks(350) in which the actuators are respectively installed such that the actuators are continuously and sequentially transferred through a transfer unit(330), and a power transmission part(400) including a plurality of rotary bar units(430) rotated together with a drive motor(410), first rotary bodies for receiving a power from the rotary bar units, and a power connecting unit respectively formed on outer diameter sides of one end portions of the winding wheels and the actuators such that the power connecting unit is engaged with the first rotary bodies.
