A mobile terminal having a UV(Ultraviolet rays) sterilizer is provided to prevent a user from being infected by a harmful germ parasitic in the terminal, in consideration of the user's health. An opening/closing recognizing switch(46) recognizes opening and closing of a keypad cover(2). A keypad(3) is covered by a keypad cover(2) after a mobile terminal is used. Plural UV LEDs(Light Emitting Diodes)(11) are fixed at certain positions to irradiate ultraviolet rays toward the keypad(3). A sterilizing power supply unit(12) applies power to the UV LEDs(11) from a battery(6). A controller(13) controls power of the sterilizing power supply unit(12). |
