EARTHEN PIPE WHICH INSULATES WITH A DUAL LAYER FOR PREVENTING CHILL FROM HEATING

A dual insulating earthen pipe for preventing heating of a chiller is provided to increase cooling power of the chiller and to prevent sticking of a casting and casting defects by preventing the chiller coming into contact with an injection port from being heated by inserting refractories to the inside. In a sprue connected with a sprue runner(12) for sending melt to the inside of a chiller surrounding a casting during a casting process, a dual insulating earthen pipe(200) for preventing heating of the chiller is composed of: an inner earthen pipe(24) for surrounding the outer peripheral surface of a part of the sprue runner inserted into the sprue; an insulating coating(23) for surrounding the outer side of the inner earthen pipe; refractories(22) for surrounding the insulating coating; and an outer earthen pipe(21) for surrounding the refractories. The dual insulating earthen pipe increases cooling power of the chiller by maximizing insulation of the sprue coming into contact with the chiller.
