A light guide panel including an incident-angle changing unit, and a backlight unit using the same are provided to form a horizontal groove in a side surface of the light guide panel on which light of a light emitting diode module is incident, thereby reducing the loss of center light. An incident-angle changing unit is provided in an incident surface(112) of a light guide panel(110). The incident-angle changing unit disperses light incident from a light source upward and downward, and right and left. The incident-angle changing unit includes vertical grooves dispersing light incident from the light source right and left, and horizontal grooves(116) dispersing light incident from the light source upward and downward. |
