A separation preventing structure of an optical pickup-feeding part for an optical disk drive is provided to prevent a feed guide transferring an optical pickup from being separated from a lead screw by allowing the feed guide to be caught by a projection when the feed guide is about to be separated from the lead screw. A separation preventing structure of an optical pickup-feeding part for an optical disk drive comprises a lead screw(54), an optical pickup, a lead screw bracket(56), and a feed guide(60). A screw part is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the lead screw. The lead screw bracket has a projection(58) to prevent the optical pickup from being separated from the lead screw when the lead screw rotates. The feed guide is caught by the projection when the feed guide is about to be separated from the lead screw. The feed guide includes an elastic neck part(60n), a guide plate(60') projected toward the lead screw bracket, and a rack gear(62) engaged with the screw part.
