The invention relates to an anti-skid system for vehicle wheels which system may be adapted to each wheel and, in particular, to passenger vehicle wheels. It is composed of polyurethane feet 5,6 retained by the spring 9 holding under tension the anti-skid system around the wheel. The ribs-guides 7 assist the placement of the feet into the groove of the tyres. Reduced shocks, improved adhesion on the soil and effective braking stabilize the motion of vehicles onto snow and iced surfaces. The anti-skid system in question may be practicable for passenger vehicles having tyres of any size. |
