A sunroof of a vehicle is provided to keep the position of a sun shade still when the vehicle makes a sudden stop by a locking device installed between the sun shade and a guide rail, and to allow a user to control the sun shade with a small force. A sunroof of a vehicle comprises a guide rail(20), a sun shade(22), a leaf spring, and a locking device(30). The guide rail is installed in an opening of a roof of the vehicle. The sun shade is slidably installed to the guide rail for opening and closing the opening. The leaf spring is secured on the opposite sides of the sun shade, making elastic contact to the guide rail to keep the position of the sun shade shifted. The locking device is mounted on the side surface of the sun shade to prevent the sun shade from moving forward when the vehicle makes a sudden stop.
