A camera module and a mobile terminal having the same are provided to shorten the time required for an assembly process, to reduce manufacturing cost, and to slim the thickness of products. A camera module(400) comprises an LTCC(Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic) substrate(401), a lens module(407), and an IR filter(409). On the LTCC substrate, an image sensor(403) and an image signal processor(405) are formed. The lens module is coupled to the LTCC substrate. The IR filter is formed in the LTCC substrate(401). The image sensor is formed on the upper surface of the LTCC substrate. The image signal processor is formed on the lower surface of the LTCC substrate. The image sensor and the image signal processor are connected to the LTCC substrate by wire bonding.
